Callaway Clay is a locally owned by Joe Callaway. Joe has worked in pottery for many years and has a true passion for the art. His love began when he was 15 years old and started working part time at Happy Valley Pottery. At 19 years old Joe decided to serve his country and joint the United States Marine Corp where he was a Combat Photographer. After his service years he moved back home and finally was given the opportunity to get back into the pottery world. Opening his own studio has always been a dream for Joe and last year we were able to finally make that dream a reality. Joe currently works a full time job and is working at his studio after hours and on weekends
